With an abundance of love and concern, S. Jones F. and C. is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Gloria Jean Sledge, as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this precious jewel. "Pearlie" as she was known to so many, closed the curtains on this journey called life on April 07, 2024 at UNC Nash Medical Center.

The Services of Remembrance events will begin with hours of reflections on Saturday, April 13, 2024 between the hours of 5 pm to 7 pm in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. During that time, you can reminisce on the good ole days.

On Sunday, April 14, 2024 commencing at 2 pm, A Celebration of Life will be held in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, Whitakers, NC.
